Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers. Both are careers she's taken up. She made her debut when she was just nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). The year 1988 saw her played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo (1988) in addition to in addition to being a part of Michele Soavi's cast in The Church (1989). In the following year, she was Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career took off. Her roles went from young roles to becoming more mature. Two of them were made: Prospettive In 1996, she directed a document about her father and then Abel/Asia in 1998, about the cult film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was recognized by the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her directorial debut as a feature film in 1999 with Scarlet Diva (2000). She was also the main actress, and the author of the script. In May 2000, the film was made available both in Italy and around the globe. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it received an award from the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou, the first daughter of the couple was born in the month of January in 2001. She appeared in 2002 featured in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action film featuring Vin Diesel. Asia can also be the writer of numerous stories that have been published in a variety of prestigious magazines
